| Ehsanur Rahman, M.D., F.A.C.C. Dr. Ehsanur Rahman joined Cardiology Physicians, P.A. in May of 2007. He began his medical studies in Bangladesh. After his graduation in 1972, he started his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. His cardiology fellowship began in 1976 at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Florida. Dr. Rahman is certified in both internal and critical care medicine, as well as cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Rahman specializes in both consultative and interventional cardiology and has been practicing for over 29 years. His clinical practice includes diagnostic catherization and interventional stent placement as well as balloon angioplasty. In addition, he is trained in echocardiography. Currently he serves as Associate Chief of Cardiology as well as Associate Program Director for the Cardiology Fellowship Program at Christiana Care Hospital. Dr. Rahman has been voted “Teacher of the Year” numerous times by the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Christiana Care Hospital. Dr. Rahman is married with two children. He dedicates his spare time to a primary care clinic operating as a charity in Bangladesh and owned by a group of physicians. Dr. Rahman also enjoys gardening. | ![]() |
